ROUND 1: C.C.N.S.W.  v  BATTING, AVERAGE  at MOORE PARK WEST MP1 ON SUNDAY 12 JULY 2020: REPORT BY JIM HADLEY

I managed the team but did not play as we were unexpectedly one player over. I lost the toss and we were asked to bowl. The pick of our bowlers was David Craig who bowled his 4 overs for only 10 runs and could have had 4 wickets but for 3 dropped catches and a missed stumping. Luke Eustace and Luke Holman also both bowled really well. We chased 123 and Peter Rolls got busy with a hard running 43 (heavy outfield) and it was great to see Peter Rolls and his son Hayden (31*) put on plenty of runs together. We were helped by a hard hitting 25 from ‘Jonno’ Seifman.  All up a fun game dominated by our spin attack and some great keeping from Will Jacobs.

We will get a team photo next week as we were pushed for time with a last minute change of ground.
