The Club welcomes and needs new players. You will need to be over 60 by 1 April 2024 to play in the 2023-2024 season (i.e. by the end of the season). If you are, you can play the full season, even if currently only 59.
The 2023-2024 season will start on Sunday 24 September 2023 and end on Sunday 10 March 2024. The Competition is played over 11 rounds. The premiership is decided solely on the league table. There are no Finals or Grand Finals.
The Cricketers’ Club of New South Wales is one of twelve teams that play in a Sunday over 60s “Vintage” competition in Sydney this season. The other 11 teams for the 2023-2024 season are Ashfield de La Salle Old Boys, Burwood-Ku-ring-gai, Castle Hill, Central Coast. Georges River, Hunter, Lindfield, Northern Stars, Roseville Rogues, Southern Highlands and Sri Lanka Lions.
Last season C.C.N.S.W. were Premiers.
Its home ground is Camperdown Park. All games start at 12.15pm in daylight saving time and are 40 overs per side on turf wickets generally on alternating fortnights to the Classics. Batters must retire at 30* (but may return) and bowlers are limited to 7 over.
